Parts Counter Clerk (40 hours per week)

Job Description:

Parts counter clerk is responsible for filling parts orders, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories for service technicians and outside customers.

  • Assists in stocking duties and inventory
  • Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
  • Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Parts Manager
  • Assists in maintaining that all department tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic data entry and computer skills required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
  • A knowledge of automotive parts (medium and heavy duty trucks) helpful but not required
  • Fork lift experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 7 hours per day
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of team
